Masina hospital in association with Trained Nurses Association of India, Maharashtra State Branch, celebrated International Women’s Day 2019, At Masina Hospital, Byculla. Inauguration of the programme was done by lighting the lamp, by Dr. Vispy Jokhi, Medical Director, Masina Hospital, Mrs Rucha Salgoankar, Programme Chairperson, TNAI Maharashtra State branch, Mrs. Shweta Dhabholkar, and other members of the hospital. This year International Womens Day, theme “Balance for Better” was opened by Mrs. Nandita Redkar Chairperson Nursing Service TNAI, Maharashtra State branch, Nsg Suptd of Masina hospital.
“Health Mela For Home Makers” i.e. full body health check up along with pathology and radiology screening has been organized from 4th March to 7th March, which was followed by free consultation by orthopedic surgeon, gynaecologist, dietitian, psychiatrist, dermatologist and general Physician. Total 120 participants benefited by this health check up.
Simultaneously, a free trial session was organized for Yoga, Zumba and Aerobics.
A health talk on Osteoporosis in Women, Aging Gracefully, Healthy you, Healthy Women and Nutrition in Women different ages was delivered by eminent speaker. Sr Maya Kolamkar, A retired Sister Incharge from Masina hospital who has served Masina for 38 years, has been felicitate by Medical Director of Masina Hospital.
