1. WELCOME PROGRAMME
With the starting of the new academic year in August 2017, a welcome programme was conducted for the students of 1st B.Sc. and 1st GNM ON 26th August 2017; in order to welcome the new students. The programme was conducted through dancing, singing and skit, at the end of which refreshments were served.
2. ORGAN DONATION PROGRAMME
An organ donation programme was conducted by the college, during which various competitions were held to lighten the spark of awareness regarding organ donation among the students. It was organised by 3rd GNM students under the guidance of Mrs.Reshma and Mrs.Sharika. A speech was given and a skit was performed as a part of this programme.
3. WORLD BREAST FEEDING WEEK
On 8th August 2017, World Breast Feeding Week was organised by the Interns under the guidance of Ms.Tejashri and Mrs.Sweety. Elocution and Essay writing competition was held to enlighten the crowd with its importance.
4. ONAM CELEBRATIONS
On 4th September 2017, Onam celebration has taken place in which Pookalam Competition and Class Decoration Competition was held class wise and Payasam was distributed among the students.
5. SNA GENERAL BODY MEETING
SNA General Body Meeting was conducted on 11th September 2017 to conduct elections and elect new members for every position. New Members were elected for their respective positions and responsibilities were read out for each position. The meeting was adjourned with singing of Institutional Anthem.
6. FAREWELL PROGRAMME
On 29th September 2017, a farewell programme was conducted for the passing students from the college as a token of love and appreciation. The programme was attended by 3rd GNM and 4th BSc. Students along with the faculty members and the organizers of 3rd BSc. and 2nd GNM students.
7. SNA BIENNIAL CONFERENCE
From 7th October 2017, 27th SNA Biennial Conference was by TNAI in Aurangabad, wherein 7 students participated in the conference. They were guided by Sr.Nirmala and Ms.Delphina, where they took part in various competitions like Elocutions, Essay Writing Competition and won prizes for the same.
8. WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
World Mental Health Day was celebrated on 8th October 2017, which was organized by 4th year BSc. students under the guidance of Ms.Preeti Sare and Mrs.Sharika. The Hospital Board was decorated, a speech both in Hindi and English language was given in the Hospital and a skit was performed in Mental Health Nursing Posting.
9. DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
Diwali was celebrated in the college on 18th October 2017, during which Rangoli Competition was organised in the morning and a party was held in the afternoon during which each class performed either a dance, skit or a song. After the party ended, refreshments were served to each class.
10. WORLD AIDS DAY
World AIDS Day was celebrated on 1st December 2017, organized by the 2nd year BSc. students under the guidance of Mrs.Mishal and Ms.Anisha. The Board was decorated in the Hospital, a speech was given in the Hospital and a skit was performed in the community setting.
11. LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY
On 2nd December 2017, Lamp Lighting Ceremony was organized for the new budding nightingales as they enter the field of Nursing. They took the flame in their hands and repeated the oath of Nursing read by Julianna Sister(Assistant Nursing Director). After the ceremony, the refreshments were served to all the students.
12. GRADUATION CEREMONY
On 5th December 2017, the college organized a Graduation Ceremony to felicitate the graduates with their passing certificates. The graduates took their oath of profession and were awarded with their certificates.
13. WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY
World Patient Safety Day was celebrated on 9th December 2017, which was organized by the 1st year BSc. students under the guidance of Mrs.Jenevia and Ms.Pricilla. The Hospital Board was decorated for the day and a speech was given to the patients in both Hindi and English language.
14. REPUBLIC DAY
Republic Day was celebrated on January 26th 2018 to commemorate its importance. A Morning mass was conducted by the college at 6:30 am, after which a small programme was organized by 2nd BSc. consisting of dance and singing songs. The programme ended with the singing of national anthem.
15. SPORTS AND CULTURALS PROGRAMME
On 21st December 2017 and 11th January 2018, Sports and Culturals were organized in the college, house wise to showcase their sporting spirit and talents. Various competitions were held for the students to showcase their talents and various games were conducted to enhance their sporting spirit and teamwork.
16. WORLD CANCER DAY
World Cancer Day was celebrated on 4th February 2018 which was conducted by 3rd BSc. under the guidance of Mrs.Reshma and Ms.Febin. The Hospital Board was decorated and speeches were given to patients in Hindi and English, to enhance the importance of palliative care in cancer patients.
17. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
International Women’s Day Programme was organized on 8th March 2018 to explain the importance of women’s education, health, empowerment, safety and freedom. It was conducted by 3rd GNM students under the guidance of Ms.Delphina and Mrs.Rajinimol. They decorated the Hospital Board and Speech was given to the patients regarding the same event.
18. WORLD T.B. DAY
World TB Day Programme was celebrated on 24th March 2018 by the college to explain regarding Tuberculosis. It was organized by the students of 1st PB.BSc. and 2nd PB.BSc. under the guidance of Ms.Preeti Sare and Sr.Leema Rose.
19. WORLD HEALTH DAY
World Health Day was celebrated on 7th April 2018 that was conducted by students of 1st GNM under the guidance of Ms.Alveena and Ms.Mable to explain the importance of health in the lives of people. The Hospital Board was decorated and speech was given regarding the same programme.
20. CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME
Career Guidance Lecture was conducted on 17th April 2018 in the college for the students of 4th B.Sc., 3rd B.Sc., 3rd GNM, and 2nd PBBSc. And all the faculty members, in order to explain regarding the nursing opportunities overall the countries i.e. salary benefits, well respected life in society, PR options and direct registrations with nursing boards.
21. INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY
International Nurses Day was celebrated on 17th May 2018 that was organized by 4th BSc. students under the guidance of Mrs.Mishal and Ms.Ankita. The Board was decorated by the Hospital and speech was given to the patients about the importance of nurses.
22. MENSTRUAL HYGIENE WEEK
Menstrual Hygiene Week was also celebrated as an annual awareness day on 31st May 2018, wherein a speech was given, a skit was performed and elocution competition was held, regarding the same.
23. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
On 21st June 2018, International Yoga Day was celebrated in the college, during which Essay Writing competition and Poster Making Competition was conducted.
24. SNA PROGRAMME RESULTS
On the 30th of June 2018, the results of all the programmes conducted by SNA were announced as a part of their year end announcements. The Sports and Cultural Programme winners were announced in this programme along with other competition winners held on each important day.
25. TALENT FEST PROGRAMME
With the starting of new Academic Year in 2018, first, the Talent Fest and the Welcome Programme was conducted on 26th August 2018 wherein, the freshers were welcomed by the college, after which the freshers showcased their talents in front of the crowd.
26. SNA GENERAL BODY MEETING
After the Welcome Programme, the college organized a SNA General Body Meeting on 30th August 2018, in which the elections were held in GFATM Hall to elect the new SNA members and handover the responsibilities to them.
27. TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
On 5th September 2018, Teacher’s Day Programme was held by the students as a memento for the teacher’s hardwork and dedication, through games and dance performances.
28. HIRANANDANI COMPETITION
The Hiranandani Hospital Organization organized a presentation for nursing students, for which the students from the college were selected to participate on 22nd September 2018. The Hiranandani Programme once again was organized as NIRCON’2018 Programme to felicitate the winning students along with presentations related to Nursing on 27th October 2018. One of our student has won the second prize in this competition.
29. INTERCOLLEGE SKIT COMPETITION
The Tata Memorial Hospital also decided to conduct an Inter College Skit competition for the Nursing Students on the topic of “HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE”, in order to spread awareness to the common people about its importance. The group of students participated in this programme has won the first prize.
30. LAMP LIGHTING PROGRAMME
The college organized the Lamp Lighting Ceremony of 14th B.BSc, and 21st GNM students on 6th November 2018 for the budding nightingales to enter the field of Nursing.
31. GRADUATION PROGRAMME
They also conducted a Graduation Ceremony of Academic Year 2017 2018 on November 13th 2018 to felicitate the graduates with their graduation certificates.
32. TRADITIONAL DAY CELEBRATION
Traditional Day was celebrated by the college on 15th November 2018 in which they organized Rangoli and Kandil Making competition along with Class Decoration Competition, for which evaluation was done from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
