Workshop on “Human Excellence for ANM” was organised by TNAI Maharashtra State Branch in association with Sau Meenatai Thakre Institute of Nursing Education, TMC Thane on 27th march 2019 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Inauguration of the workshop was done by Chief Guest, Dr. Mangalam Sriram, Director Academic, Chaitanyam, Institute for Human Excellence in Health Care, Thane, Vice President Mrs. Aakansha Pande, Secretary Ms. Prachi Dharap, Chairperson PHN, Mrs.Shweta Dabholkar, Vice Principal SMTINE, Mrs. Prajakta Samant.
The workshop started with the prayer “Hum ko man ki shakti dena”. Mrs. Akansha Pande, Vice President TNAI Maharashtra State Branch gave welcome address to the delegates.
The Workshop was started with ice breaking games for the ANM by Mrs. Bharti Deshpande, Nursing Tutor. Introduction of the programme was done by Mrs. Varsha Patil, Nursing Tutor. Chief Guest, Dr. Mangalam Sriram, spoke about importance of the “Human Excellence for Nurses”. She stressed that nurses while taking care of patients should integrate human values such as empathy and compassion. Afterwards a team building activity was conducted and several points were discussed how to keep positive environment at work place. Mr. Nishad took session on rhythm in our life and how to maintain. Body, mind and soul relationship was discussed , which was followed by 25 mins. of Body and mind relaxation therapy which helped all to de-stress after a days work and it also helped to have a positive vision of self.

Total 62 ANM of T.MC Thane, Health center, 30 student nurses and 8 faculty members of SMTINE attended the programme. This programme was organised by Mrs.Shweta Dhabolkar, Chairperson PHN and Ms. Prachi Dharap, Secretary.
