World Tuberculosis Day 2021
Theme: “The clock is Ticking” Convey the sense that the world is running out of time to act on a commitment to end TB made by global leaders.”
INTRODUCTION:
Each year, we are celebrating World Tuberculosis (TB) day on 24th March to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB. Each Day, nearly 4000 people lose their lives to TB.
OBJECTIVES:
- Accelerate the end TB response to reach the target set in sustainable development goal.
- Diagnose and treat 40 million people with TB by 2022
- Mobilize sufficient and sustainable financing
ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:
Skit and Dance
REPORT:
We the students of 3rd year GNM performed a skit on world Tuberculosis day. The skit was performed in Multipurpose Hall. The skit was conducted for 20 minutes.
The main purpose of the skit was to provide awareness regarding Tuberculosis day, its causes, and how to prevent disease conditions in their daily lifestyle. we had introduced a person who was affected by tuberculosis and was having a disturbing lifestyle and was not able to give people attention and care towards their responsibility. Through this skit, we provide information’s regarding how another sedentary lifestyles can affect the normal health status of a person and how it can be prevented by them.
CONCLUSION:
We concluded the skit by the awareness on the disease condition and also danced on the song for awareness of the causes, signs, and symptoms and its prevention of Tuberculosis.
