Seminar on CPR
A Seminar on CPR was conducted by 3rd year Basic BSc Nursing students on 27th March 2021 in the multipurpose hall of Holy Family Institute Nursing Education, Kurla (W). The seminar began at 8:30 am. The seminar was conducted in the presence of Honorable Principal Sr. Nives, Vice-principal ma’am Christine and the teaching staff.
The Host for the event was Ms. Mathias Jessica Henry. The Seminar began with a prayer song, followed by a Roleplay performed by Ms. Ankita Mane, Ms. Jacinta Nadan, Ms. Priti Rathod, Ms. Elizabeth Matthew, Ms. Pradnya Kothekar, Ms. Dhanashri Bagave, Ms. Mahek Shaikh & Ms. Sudha Derber for the introduction of the topic. The speakers for the presentation were Ms. Ruth Poojary, Ms. Casandra Pereira, and Ms. Reema Tripathi. The topics covered under the presentation included Anatomy & Physiology of the heart, Cardiac arrest, ALS, BLS, change in the sequence of CPR according to the American Heart Association, Adult chain of survival, Golden rules CPR, Steps, Management, and complications of CPR. The PPT was handled by Ms. Minisha Nadar.
An effective Demonstration was performed by Ms. Sonu Abraham, Ms. Richa Tripathi, Ms. Anisha Salvi, Ms. Riya Noronha & Ms. Saniya Alibaug which was accompanied by Redemonstration from all the batches.
